a glimpse of what to expect during your visit

Parking

Upon entrance to the church parking lot, parking is located to the immediate right. Further parking is located towards the back of the church parking lot. Further information regarding our location can be found in the about section under contact.

 Children

We welcome all parents to bring your kids to our various children’s’ classes! Upon entrance to our sanctuary, parents and their children will be guided and introduced to the appropriate classes alongside various activities fit for their age. All leaders in the church including the staff working specifically with children have received a thorough screening and have undergone the appropriate training under NCS Risk to ensure the safety of our children and of yours.

 Sabbath School

We begin the Sabbath in the sanctuary at 9:15 A.M. through our Sabbath school, and we want you to be a part of that! Fellowship with one another—especially in smaller gatherings—are important so that we are able to refresh and energize each other with our individual presence, catch up and learn about each other while we share stories about our week, intervene for one another through prayer, study the Word of God, and discuss important topics fit for our present day. More information regarding which Sabbath school class to attend can be located in the get involved section under sabbath school.

hour of worship

Following Sabbath school is our main worship service in the sanctuary beginning at 10:30 A.M. The Lord states in his Holy Word that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of us (Matthew 18:20). Thus, reverence and sincerity mark the nature of our service. Our main worship service is filled with songs of praise led by our music committee followed by many more blessings that are meant to simply and purely thank God for what He continues to do for us daily. Our sermons are mainly given by Pastor Rajaratnam Masilamony—the senior pastor of the Weslaco Seventh-day Adventist Church—but will also include the elders of our church and many more powerful, God-fearing leaders and pastors in our church community and even abroad!
